YFP was founded by local Filipino-Americans in the Hampton Roads area who took the initiative to organize interest among the area Filipino-American professionals. As an organization we would like to provide avenues of professional development by utilizing the resources and experiences of our members and provide a forum for individuals with shared interests to exchange information and ideas.
The purposes of YFP is to increase and promote awareness of the organization; to promote and preserve culture; to serve as a network for personal and professional development; to be involved within the community; and to promote fellowship and fun.
